ART

After a longer break from art making, I am preparing for a new fresh start. At the moment I´m

investigating new expressions and ideas, experimenting and playing. When new art work is

ready, I´ll start presenting them on my website and on Instagram.

WORK, STYLE & MEDIA.

I work with abstract painting and mixed media on canvas and paper, besides experimenting

with mono printing.

INSPIRATION.

My work is in great part inspired by organic materials, shapes, patterns and textures, and by

The Earth/nature and earth as clay, soil, minerals and colours, as medium for seeds, plants and other life.

Both Earth and soil keep memories of time and history. Layers of decayed materials and trapped traces of pollen, organisms, fossils, animals, humans and cultures.

I love how organic materials transform by weather, time, sunlight and space. The materials

and earthy colours have a calming effect, as they are from and part of nature, as we are. They

are living, breathing, sensorial and soulful. They have tactile surfaces, scents and smells. And

they are part of the cycle of life, in constant transformation.
